Auvellum documents
Trust and safety.
How we use your information, where to report a problem and what to consider when using a digital asset wallet.
Website terms
StartMadeSimple Ltd operates this website to share information about Auvellum and invite people to receive beta updates. The wallet is in development. The email list is for updates only and gives no entitlement to beta admission, tokens or future services.
This website offers no purchase, deposit, trading or investment facility. Project material is provided for general information. Plans may change as we test the product and evaluate requirements. Your statutory rights continue to apply.
Privacy notice
StartMadeSimple Ltd is the controller for this website and the beta updates list. For a privacy question or request, email the company or write to the registered office below.
What we collect and why
- Beta updates
- If you opt in, we use your email address to send a confirmation message. Once you confirm, we use consent to send Auvellum beta release and development updates. We keep the wording and version of your consent, the signup source and dates of signup, confirmation and withdrawal as applicable.
- Site visits and abuse prevention
- Hosting providers process connection and request details to deliver and protect the site. We use limited signup records to prevent repeated confirmation emails and misuse. We rely on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site.
- Enquiries
- If you contact us, we use your address and message to respond and keep a record of the correspondence as needed. We rely on our legitimate interests in handling enquiries.
Providing an email is optional and is needed only to receive updates or a reply. The public site uses no analytics or advertising scripts.
Who handles the information
Our hosting, storage and email delivery providers process information to deliver those services. We keep the beta list separate from other StartMadeSimple mailing lists. For a restricted transfer outside the UK, we use an applicable UK adequacy decision or contractual safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. Contact us for details or a copy of the applicable safeguards.
How long we keep it
Confirmation links expire after 24 hours. We remove expired requests during routine list maintenance. We keep confirmed addresses while they are subscribed and the Auvellum updates list is in use. After an opt-out we keep limited consent and suppression evidence as needed to honour your choice and demonstrate what happened. Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle them and meet applicable legal recordkeeping duties.
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in an update or by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. You may also ask to access, correct or erase your data, restrict its use or receive a portable copy where applicable. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing. You can raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Risks and limits
Digital assets can lose value. Wallets, networks, issuers and payment providers can fail or become unavailable. Issuer restrictions and local rules can affect whether a person can use or redeem an asset.
Recovering access to a wallet and getting money into an account are separate things. A confirmed transfer can still be followed by a delayed or rejected payout. The white paper explains the limits Auvellum intends to test and disclose.
Wallet recovery
Keep recovery phrases and private keys to yourself. Anyone who has them may be able to move your assets. Use the recovery instructions from the wallet provider you verified independently. Practise the process safely while you still have access and check the recovered public address before using it.
Security reporting
Visit Auvellum.com directly for project information. Treat any request to buy an Auvellum token, send a deposit, pay for beta access or share a recovery phrase as suspicious.
Email a security report if you find a vulnerability or see someone impersonating Auvellum. Include the affected page, what you observed and a safe way to reproduce the issue. Keep private keys, recovery phrases and other people’s personal information out of the report.
